It's here! Our third annual WWP Fall Conference will be held October 25, 2008 in Winthers Hall at Winthrop University. This exciting professional development opportunity is always entitled Teachers Teaching Teachers because we believe in honest advertising. These sessions will not be taught by outside presenters who haven''t been in the classroom in years just trying to make a quick buck. All sessions will be led by local classroom teachers. Sessions will include strategies for teaching writing, reading, poetry, lab reports, non-fiction, and book reviews, covering a broad range of content areas like Math, English, Science, and Social Studies. Also... make sure you try to ask your building administrators to see if they can pay for your registration. Most administrators would gladly invest $25 in your professional development!
